DJ Heather Gray - Owner/DJ/Officiant/All Around Entertainment

Hello all, I am DJ Heather. I started DJing in 2009 as a karaoke DJ for a friends company in Cedar Rapids Iowa. I soon realized I had a strong passion for making people happy and really love music. I started DJing weddings and private parties the same year around the holidays. I have since done over 40 weddings and love getting to be part of peoples special day. I got ordained in 2016 to be able to perform wedding ceremonies for a family member, and the rest is history. I enjoy learning the story behind the couples I am getting to marry. I put the information I gather together in a personalized custom written ceremony. TatTunes DJ Services launched in 2022, but became a focal point for goals in January 2023. The name and logo of the business are both inspired by my love of tattoos and music! With over 40 tattoos (and counting) I had to mesh the two together and with the help of my brother, we came up with the business name. While freelancing for other people has been a wonderful experience, and a great learning opportunity, I really wanted to branch out on my own. Now with the assistance of my most bestest friend Brandy, my vision has become a reality! We are in the business of taking the guess work and stress out of the wedding/event music process.

Hi! I am Brandy. I am Heather's assistant and most bestest friend! I am a full-time direct service provider to adults with disabilities, part-time graphic designer and mom. I am new to the DJing business, but I am really excited to learn EVERYTHING! I create all the artwork and keep Heather from losing her mind with the background business things! I wanted to be part of this journey because Heather's excitement and passion inspires me. I enjoy helping with all the set up and work involved with this new adventure. I hope to learn everything I can to help this business grow and help achieve all the goals we have set for ourselves!
